GoEARLY to back of Palace.  Best view on high ground on circular Victoria Monument.  Show lasts about 30 min

***London Eye Ferris Wheel.  Book ahead at a London TI or in person at office near base of wheel,  daily 8:30-17:30.  Maybe your hotel can book this for you, ask!.  Be sure to show up on time if not a bit early.  Best to go before 11 am or at night.(open till 22;)

***Tower of London   open Mon-Sat 9-6   Sun 10-5  Sun is crowded because of Services   

go at 9 and go to Jewels first to avoid crowds.  Then join one  of the free Beefeaters Tours.

--Eat lunch at old Dickens Inn Pub--just east of Tower Bridge.   Explore St Ktherine Yacht Harbor area

or CatchThames  cruise boats  to Greenwich at piers near Tower of London, Charing Cross, or Westminister and visit National Maritime Museum-Greenwich Open  10-5 pm Sun noon-5

or visit --British Museum--pick your areas--Free Mon-Sat  10-5 Sun 2:30-6 pm

Day Trip to Oxford and Bleneim Palace in Woodstock

TRANSPORTATION Train London Paddington --> Oxford --> Bus to Blenheim in Woodstock about 2 hours total

from train station,  Walk to Gloucester Green bus station  (5 min)  catch #20a, 20b ,or 20c to Palace gate,  2 an hr, takes 40 min.

 ***Blenheim Palace This well appointed Palace and tour is well worth Seeing.  Birthplace of Churchill.  Palace has a "puzzel or maze" garden + some great Rose gardens.  Open daily 10:30-17:30  Closed Jan to mid Feb
