Beaune to Chamonix

TRANSPORTATION: Beaune --> Chamonix,  about 6 hr.

Today enjoy the scenery as you train into the French Alps.  Did you know Mont Blanc is highest peak in the Alps?

Aiguille du Midi cable car or lift

-Once at the top consider the scenic airial gondola toLa Plaud, Iraly gondola from the top of aiguille du Midi
--Exciting & scenic way to trave l is by Cable Car
-- If the weather is clear--do the cable car over  
-- You could Bus back to Chamanix from Courmayeur, Italy.
-- Enjoy Italian Alpine cuisine for lunch or dinner before returning

Chamonix  to Nice area

***Pont du Gard: Perfectly preserved Roman aqueduct. grand Expo Musee 9:-19:30 Aqueduct is FREE   Bus 6/day summer 4 off season  40 min or

*ST REMEY  cute town.  entrance to GLANUM--a Roman Market town Ruin rmaniscant of a minature Pompeii   Also near Van Gothe painting areas and Sanitarium.  Buses 6/day 45 min.

Late afternoon train to Carcassonne

TRANSPORTATION: Arles --> Carcasonne about 3:45 hr
