Arrive Amsterdam

TRANSPORTATION Shiphol Airport -->Amsterdam: Train: 6/hr-15 min. Buy ticket locally or -->Haarlem: 6/hr-15 min,   Validate Rail Passes  at airport train station

* Use Holland Pass  DAY 1 TODAY  

City Transportation: Bus, Tram, Metro: . Purchase at TI, Tobacco shops, Day card gives you unlimited ON ALL transportation. Buy at GVB office. Amsterdam is VERY Walkable

LODGINGS: Haarlem or Amsterdam Stash luggage at Hotel

Stroll Haarlem or train to Amsterdam. Get Boat ticket at Train station*

SIGHT SEEING:

Orientation: Conside getting Amsterdam Card for Museums and Transportation at Tourist Information

Hop on Hop off Canal Boat Tours -

Stay up till 8pm at least! Get good Nights Sleep.

Day Trip to ArnheimYou will enjoy a huge park of windmills, old farmhouses, traditional crafts in action, and a pleasant education-by-immersion in Dutch culture. It's great for families.

Visit the Entrance Pavilion to get a free map or buy the English guidebook. Consider seeing the multimedia exhibit "HollandRama." Ask about special events and activities (especially for kids) as you enter.

The park has several good budget restaurants  or bring a Picnic.

TRANSPORTATION Today: Train 70 min. to Arnhem--> Bus to Folk Museum & Back-->

* Use Benelux Rail Pass  DAY 3  TODAY or Drive  (aprox. 5:30 hr of travel)  Depart no later than NOON -Earlier would be better--take a Picnic on train for dinner.

Amsterdam to Brugge Belgium

TRANSPORTATION Today: Amsterdam --> Brugge (if you leave early)--> you can  stop in Antwerp
