Mosel River & her Villages

Zell

Zell, known for its Zeller Schwartze Katz (Black Cat) wine, is one of the best Mosel villages for an overnight stay.  It is peaceful with a strollable riverside promenade and a pedestrian bridge going across to Kaimt.  It is here you will find fun oompah folk bands on most weekend evenings.   Walk up to the medieval wall's gatehouse and through the cemetary to the old munitions tower for a fantastic village view.
