BahnCard
gives a 50% discount on 2nd class tickets for a year. Those over 59, under
23, students under
27, and spouses (traveling with someone with the E133 card)
get the same card
for E69 (children

Abend ticket lets night owls go anywhere in Germany between 7 PM (2
PM Saturdays) and 2 AM the next day for about E30; E38 on Fridays and Sundays
(second class, buy at train stations).
Travel Tip: Rail Help in Munich
The EurAide office in Munich's main train station is a handy resource
for travelers. They make train and Romantic Road bus reservations and sell
train tickets, couchettes, and sleepers for almost anywhere in Europe. (Daily
in summer 7:45-12:00, 13:00-18:00; in winter it closes at 16:00 on weekdays,
12:00 on Sat, and all day Sun; Room 3 at track 11; tel. 089/593-889, fax
